OVERVIEW

  • This environment is set in the tropical islands located in the pacific ocean. There is about 240000 sq meters of hand crafted playable area to explore along with dense jungle and caves.
  • Project comes with a about 50 variants of tropical foliage, grass, flowers and more. All of them are optimized and have multiple lods and impostors with pivot painter wind support. The foliage can be placed manually or through the set of procedural foliage volumes
  • The environment can go from a calm and relaxing sunny weather, to a strong storm with heavy rain and violent winds with all the necessay particle systems in place, aswell as the procedural wetness to create the stormy atmosphere. All of it can be controlled via the blueprint utility widget and a blueprint weather actor. There you can also control the direction and intensity of the wind with all of the foliage and particle systems reacting accordingly.
  • Landscape is using the runtime virtual textures to save performance and help blend meshes with the landscape.
