This is a complete remake of my original VHS project, featuring a improved shader that delivers an extremely realistic VHS effect. Everything has been redesigned, making this the most realistic VHS filter available.

The effect perfectly replicates the look of real VHS footage.

Subtle screen warping
chromatic aberration
Flickering and noise
Distorted tracking lines
Slight color bleeding and blur

The result is a realistic VHS effect, ideal for horror games, found footage projects or exploration games.

Easy Integration

Simply migrate the VHS project 2.5 into your own and drag BP_FirstPersonCharacter into your level. Then, set Auto Possess Player to Player 0, and you’re ready to go!

Or, if you prefer, you can work directly inside this project without migrating it. Just click on “Create project” and then start working there!
