This rain particle is ready to be integrated into any type of game, colliding with world elements such as roofs to keep interiors dry. It features parameters for dynamically changing the number of raindrops, rain direction and rain speed. This particle can be easily customized to add or change some of its visual and functional elements.

  • 1 Niagara rain particle (operating on the CPU)
  • 1 ripple material
  • 2 ripple textures

 

This pack includes third-person content, so you can quickly test the post-process under specific game conditions. If you feel you don’t need this content, you can easily delete it!

 

This pack works in multiplayer mode with no action required on your part.

 

Supported Development Platforms: This rain particle is a Niagara particle. It is compatible with all platforms compatible with Niagara.

 

How to setup: This asset requires the Niagara plugin and its dependencies to be activated. You can simply drag and drop this particle into your map, or add it to an existing weather system that needs a rain particle.

 

If you encounter a lighting problem (e.g. the map is all white) when opening the demo map, please set “Extend default luminance range in Auto Exposure settings” to TRUE under “Engine – Rendering” in the Project Settings.
