WHAT IS NARRATIVE PRO?

You’ve chosen Unreal Engine to make your game, but you have a problem:

  • You can’t make any missions – you need to write a Quest system, and custom editor tooling
  • You can’t make any dialogues – you need to write a Dialogue system, and custom editor tooling
  • You can’t make combat – you need to write a combat system with GAS
  • You can’t make UI & Menus – you haven’t rolled a menu system with CommonUI
  • You can’t make NPCs, you haven’t written an system to handle NPCs
  • You can’t make items, you haven’t written an Inventory system
  • The list goes on, and on…

These features are what you might call a Gameplay Framework. Its the layer you build on top of Unreal Engine, and is what your actual game content is built on. The problem is that unless you’re a huge studio with massive funding and have years to spare, building a framework like this is extremely difficult.

Thats where Pro comes in. Our team of industry veterans have experience shipping real games, and we know Unreal. We rolled an entire gameplay framework the same way the pros do: We use C++ to roll out all the core systems, many of which are built with GAS, CommonUI, and other cutting edge UE5 tools, and then let you extend all that power in C++ or Blueprints.

This lets you make very high quality gameplay extremely quickly – check out our Demo to see what we made in just 3 weeks with Pro.

WHAT DO I GET?

For an overview of the features that come with Pro, check out our video Narrative Pro’s Unreal Engine Framework Explained

For a gameplay video showing all of this in action, check out the Relic Heist Tech Demo, made by a single person in just 3 weeks with Pro.

DEMO BUILT RIGHT INTO THE PLUGIN

In the Plugin, you’ll find a Demo Map you can open, which contains Quests, Dialogue, Weapons, Inventory, Interaction, NPCs, Save System, an Open World with fast travelling, followers, and more.

THE SOLUTION YOU CAN TRUST, WITH ALL THE SUPPORT YOU NEED

Narrative has a active community of 8,000 developers on our support Discord, with staff around every day to provide help and answers. Narrative Tools was founded by Reuben Ward, a well known developer with over a decade of Unreal Engine programming experience and a YouTube dev community of over 350,000 Subscribers.

MAKE GAMES LIKE THE PROS

Most major shipped games use C++, and lean on Blueprints where they make sense, rather than making entire games in Blueprint. They also lean on Epics tech, such as CommonUI, and Gameplay Ability System, rather than trying to write their own UI and combat systems.

This is exactly how we’ve built Narrative Pro. We’re not re-inventing the wheel – we’re rolling out UE5 for you the same way the pros would do it.

Note: Not all art shown in photos is included, Armour shown in Pictures is by Polyphoria. Level art is created by Leartes Studios and PolySphere.
