Physical Assembly System – Physics

Description

The Physical Assembly System is a purely blueprint-based, physics-driven assembly system that includes annotations in both Chinese and English. In this system, you can immerse yourself in a third-person perspective and connect various physical objects together. Regardless of how you assemble them, as long as there’s a reasonable way to provide power, you can add a driver’s seat and pilot them. Generally, the handling is quite satisfactory.

Additionally, the system provides gears, ropes, propellers, and other physical objects. The system also integrates the Unreal Engine’s water plugin and leverages its buoyancy system.

What’s more, based on video tutorials, you can customize certain physics actors to create your own game. Thanks to the modular and decoupled nature of the system, if you prefer not to use the pre-built components (such as object grabbing or existing characters), you have the flexibility to replace them with your own logic.

  1. Fixed a bug where rubbing caused an error to be reported when pressing the X key while grabbing an object

  1. Fixed a UI bug that was causing incomplete decoupling between the UI and the character.
  2. Removed some redundant files that were present in the folder but were not being read by Unreal Engine .

  1. Added physical actor: Spring.
  2. Fixed the issue where the grab mode was active even when sitting down.
  3. Streamlined the process for custom actors.
  4. Wheels are no longer affected by the controller, which reduces turning performance, but at least they won’t move forward without power.
  5. Fixed the display issue with the wheels.
  6. After fixing the above bugs, a new demo experience version has been uploaded.
